This page gives a preview of Kyoko Abe's second Bangkok art exhibition, to be held at Akko Gallery, 24 February, 6:30pm

Kyoko Abe's popularity is very hard to define. Her background in Japan as a magazine and advertising illustrator, was certainly a foundation for her style. The works which she presents to us, are a wonderful explanation of herself and her family; married to a Thai, living here in Bangkok, in a typical Thai community, and loving every minute of it. Her young naive and joyful outlook, which can clearly be seen in her creations, certainly add to the demands for her works, which are very high with Japanese, Thais and Europeans, alike.
